"Big Steps for Little Feet" - made possible by an investment through First 5 of San Bernardino Parenting classes for grandparents, parents and legal guardians who are expecting a baby or who have a child between the ages of 0-5 years. Our classes are held every Thursday from 6:00p -7:30p at Foothill Family Shelter. Our next class will begin in September 2010.  We provide parenting education, resources and referrals, prenatal care and education and health and safety information. Participants will be enrolled in an 11-week incentive-based program, which includes:

• Dinner, child watch & age appropriate activities
• Gift cards at every session
• Support & guidance from a mentor

Harold Cares About Your Future, Ask Harold for Help 10-week parenting/employment class held on Tuesday evenings. Parenting Classes for teen girls between the ages of 14 and 21, at Foothill Family Shelter. Our next session will begin in September 2010; the classes are held Tuesday from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. Our program includes dinner at each session, provisions for childcare & age appropriate activities, while our participants receive parenting education and referrals, nutrition and health assessment, resume development and substance abuse prevention. Our clients are rewarded for learning. Our incentive-based program includes:

• The support & guidance of a mentor
